Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2008 03:50:17 +0000 (GMT) Thank you for contacting PayPal, my name is Tonia. I am sorry to hear about this situation, and understand your frustration and concern over the issue. I do understand that you have sent a payment in the amount of ### AUD from your PayPal account. I have reviewed your PayPal account and show that you currently have in your balances ### USD and ### EUR which would not cover your payment for AUD that you have sent. You need to move your balance to the currency amount you are sending before submitting the payment. PayPal has introduced Multiple Currencies to make the PayPal product more suitable to buyers and sellers who wish to transact in their own currencies. PayPal will support transactions in multiple currencies to facilitate the process of conducting global transactions. Multiple Currencies will give PayPal account holders the ability to send and receive their payments in all PayPal supported currencies. Members can now choose the currency or currencies in which they would like to conduct business. Sellers will be able to transact only in their primary currency unless they choose to transact in other currencies supported by PayPal. Sellers who choose to receive payments in multiple currencies will have the option of maintaining separate balances for each currency in their PayPal account, or automatically converting all payments they receive into a single currency.
